Wagtail

Wagtail occupies the top two floors of one of the City's grandest Art Deco buildings — a 1920s landmark on King William Street where the lift opens onto views that span from Tower Bridge to St Paul's Cathedral and beyond. Part of the ETM Collection, it operates as a rooftop restaurant, bar, and event venue where the skyline is not a marketing line but the actual, literal backdrop to everything that happens.

Two Floors Above the City

The 9th floor houses the restaurant and two open-air terraces flanking it — East and West, each with Thames views and sliding doors that connect indoor and outdoor space. The 10th floor is the Terrace Bar: a fully heated, retractable-roof rooftop with 360-degree views and its own bar. At the building's pinnacle, The Nest — a cupola private dining room — seats 10 in a space that feels closer to a private club than a restaurant booking. The architecture of the building does the heavy lifting; Wagtail's interiors work with it rather than against it.
