Tonight Josephine Waterloo

Tonight Josephine doesn't do subtle. The Waterloo outpost — pink walls, glitter, neon signs, mirror ceilings, and a red rose-adorned Lady Garden — is a cocktail bar built for celebration, inspired by the original Josephine de Beauharnais who hustled her way to becoming Empress of France. Female empowerment is the thread that runs through the branding, but the venue welcomes everyone and the atmosphere is inclusive and energetic.

A Party Venue That Means It

What separates Tonight Josephine from bars that occasionally host events is the infrastructure. Regular bottomless brunches, themed nights, and club programming mean the team understands how to create and sustain energy across a full evening. The 2am late licence — with extensions available — gives events room to breathe. DJ sets come as standard, cocktail-focused menus keep the drinks flowing, and the visual identity of the space provides ready-made atmosphere that requires zero additional production. Events arrive to a venue that's already dressed for a party.

Josephine's Second Bar

The semi-private Second Bar is a genuinely useful hire proposition: its own bar, own bathrooms, booth seating, and 120-person capacity create a self-contained event space within the larger venue. It's the right size for birthday parties, hen dos, launch events, and corporate socials that want privacy with energy — the main bar's atmosphere is accessible without being intrusive.

Three Minutes from Waterloo

The 111 Waterloo Road location puts the venue within a short walk of one of London's best-connected transport hubs. Mainline, Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo, and Waterloo & City lines plus Eurostar connections mean guests arrive from anywhere without complicated journeys. For events where the priority is a guaranteed good time at a venue with genuine personality and late-night capability, Tonight Josephine delivers exactly what it promises.
