Tokenhouse

Tokenhouse is a Fuller's pub on Moorgate that hides genuine event capability behind a contemporary City bar frontage. The ground floor offers industrial-accented interiors, vintage furniture, and cosy booths — a good-looking pub that operates as a proper neighbourhood bar for the City's office workers. But the real hire proposition is below ground.

The Cellar Bar

A speakeasy-styled basement with its own bar, projector, PA system, wireless microphones, and capacity for 150 standing or 80 seated. The Cellar Bar is fully self-contained — guests have their own space, their own service, and their own atmosphere, separate from whatever's happening upstairs. For corporate events that need AV without a hotel conference room, or celebrations that want privacy without sacrificing bar atmosphere, the Cellar Bar is an unusually well-equipped option for a pub.

City Pub, Serious About Events

The events team runs bookings from breakfast meetings and delegate lunches through to evening celebrations and weekend full-venue hire. A private dining room on the ground floor seats 15 for intimate gatherings. The main bar accommodates semi-private bookings on raised platform areas. Seven HD screens and a large projector make sports events and presentations part of the regular operation. Comedy nights, DJ sets, and live music run through the venue's calendar — this is a pub that already functions as an entertainment space week to week.

Seven Stations and the Square Mile

The claim of seven tube stations within walking distance is not hyperbole — Moorgate, Bank, Liverpool Street, Monument, Cannon Street, St Paul's, and the DLR are all reachable in minutes. For corporate events pulling guests from across the City and beyond, the transport links flatten the logistics. The licence runs until 1am, and the City's weekend quiet gives hire events a different character from the weekday buzz.
