The Hurlingham Club is a private members' club in Fulham that opens its event spaces to non-members — offering the kind of setting, scale, and grounds that most London venues cannot approach. The Club is credited with popularising polo in Britain, and that heritage of English sporting tradition runs through the grounds: world-class tennis and croquet lawns, a cricket pitch, and gardens that roll uninterrupted to the Thames embankment.

Event Spaces at The Hurlingham Club

The East Wing houses the contemporary event spaces. Palm Court — the glass-domed centrepiece — floods with natural light by day and transforms under feature lighting at night, holding up to 400 for reception or 250 seated. The Broomhouse Suite extends off Palm Court with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the grounds, accommodating 500 standing or 350 for dinner. The Mulgrave Theatre provides tiered seating and a built-in stage for 180 guests, suitable for presentations, plenaries, and performances. Combined as the Hurlingham Suite, the full East Wing reaches 1,200 standing or up to 1,000 for dinner.

In the original Georgian Clubhouse, the Quadrangle Suite offers a different character entirely — south-facing windows, Georgian proportions, and interconnecting rooms (Quadrangle Room, Napier Room, Terrace Room) for up to 450 standing or 200 seated dinner. The terrace opens directly onto the gardens with Thames views.

The Hurlingham Club for Events

The range spans intimate corporate dinners to major gala events for a thousand guests. Wedding receptions use the garden-to-dome ceremony flow. Conferences run plenaries in the theatre with breakout rooms across the suite. Charity balls and awards ceremonies take advantage of the scale and prestige. Late licence varies by day, reaching 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. On-site parking for 300+ cars with controlled access and security. Putney Bridge tube sits five minutes' walk away, with the venue reachable within an hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Both members and non-members can hire the event spaces.
