Seventy classic supercars from Hexagon Classics' sixty-year collection provide the backdrop — and The Engine Rooms in East Finchley isn't a car-themed venue borrowing automotive aesthetics. These are real collector cars, displayed in a working showroom by day and cleared for events by night, creating a visual setting that no amount of set design could replicate.

Event Spaces at The Engine Rooms

The Showroom is the headline space — 10 by 31 metres of warehouse-height ceiling with capacity for 350 standing or 250 seated among the car collection. Beyond it, the V12 Room takes up to 160 standing with a sleek, minimal finish and a retractable door connecting to the V8 Room, which adds 90 square metres of hardwood floors, natural daylight, and an art collection. A central Courtyard with retractable roof handles up to 80 standing for outdoor dining, and a Dining Room seats 120. The spaces interconnect, allowing events to flow between rooms or focus on a single area.

Production and Hospitality at Engine Rooms

A life-size F1 simulator is available for guest hire — an interactive element that suits automotive brands, product launches, and corporate hospitality where the car connection is a feature rather than a coincidence. In-house catering comes from 67Sourdough, the venue's own restaurant, while external catering options are also available. Free parking for up to 30 cars removes a friction point that Central London venues can't offer.

East Finchley Location

The N2 address means lower costs than central London for a venue with genuine distinction. East Finchley Underground is a five-minute walk, and the Northern line connects directly to the City and West End. The postcode won't carry Mayfair prestige, but the venue itself creates an impact that transcends location — guests remember the cars, not the commute.
