The Bloomsbury Ballroom

Ten thousand square feet of original 1926 Art Deco architecture, split across three interconnecting spaces in Victoria House on Bloomsbury Square. The Bloomsbury Ballroom isn't a period recreation — these are genuine listed features, from the high ceilings and mirrored walls to the marble entrance that sets the tone before guests reach the event floor. Since 2015, it's been home to The London Cabaret Club, which gives the venue an entertainment identity that most hire spaces can't claim.

Three Spaces at The Bloomsbury Ballroom

The Ballroom itself is the main event — up to 550 standing or 300 seated for dinner, with an in-built stage, six projector walls, and professional sound and lighting included with every hire. The Rose Bar adds 1,970 square feet with its own DJ deck, small stage, and separate street-level entrance, making it a natural drinks reception or after-party space. The Long Bar runs the length of the Ballroom with two built-in bars and its own performer platform. All three connect, scaling the venue from focused single-room events up to 700 standing across the full floor.

Production Capability at Bloomsbury

The complimentary AV package — six projector walls, microphones, sound system, multiple lighting presets, and a dedicated AV technician — removes a cost line that catches planners off guard at other venues. The stage and dressing rooms support awards ceremonies, fashion shows, and live performances without temporary build costs. Both wet and dry hire are available, with in-house catering or approved external suppliers.

Location and Access

Bloomsbury Square sits between the West End and the City — Holborn and Russell Square stations are the closest, with Covent Garden, King's Cross, and Tottenham Court Road all within reach. The licence runs to midnight, with extensions available.
