SILKS Cocktails Lounge & Nightclub

SILKS brings dedicated nightclub infrastructure to Catford — a two-floor venue on Rushey Green where a 450-capacity club sits below a 200-person cocktail lounge, and a custom-built sound system makes the case that serious nightlife doesn't need a Zone 1 postcode. The building operates as a single venue with two distinct personalities, connected by a shared aesthetic but separated by energy level.

Two Floors at SILKS

The ground-floor Nightclub is built around its dancefloor: 450 standing, multiple private booths, an elevated VVIP section, and an LED ceiling art display that shifts the visual atmosphere throughout the night. Upstairs, the Luxe Lounge takes up to 200 guests in a cocktail bar setting — original hand-painted artwork on the walls, a grand bar running along one side, its own DJ booth, and private restrooms. Both floors have independent sound and DJ setups, so the music can run different programmes simultaneously or build together for full-venue hire.

How Events Flow Through SILKS

The two-floor layout creates a natural evening arc. Drinks receptions start in the Luxe Lounge — cocktails, conversation, the artwork providing something to look at — before guests move downstairs to the Nightclub as energy builds. Full venue hire combines both floors for up to 650 guests, and the transition between lounge and club gives events a sense of progression that single-room venues struggle to replicate.

South East London's Late-Night Option

A 4am licence with extension available means events here run later than most London venues permit. For birthday celebrations, corporate parties, and Christmas events where the dancefloor is the point rather than an afterthought, SILKS offers a purpose-built environment with proper production spec — in a part of London where that combination is genuinely rare.
