Plaisterers' Hall is the largest livery hall in the City of London, built in 1972 within the Foster and Partners-designed One London Wall and backed by a section of the original third-century Roman Wall. The neoclassical interiors — corniced ceilings, gold chandeliers, floor-length windows — sit inside an ultra-modern shell, creating a venue where 18th-century opulence meets contemporary infrastructure. The Great Hall is the principal space — a magnificent neoclassical ballroom seating 330 for dinner or holding 550 for receptions, with natural light flooding through floor-length windows and a state-of-the-art sound system with customisable lighting that can match company branding colours. The wood-panelled Livery Hall accommodates 70 for dinner or 220 for receptions, with an ornate ceiling that makes it the natural choice for pre-dinner drinks or self-contained events at a more intimate scale. The Humber Room seats 22 for boardroom meetings or private dining, while the Mott Room — adjacent to the Great Hall — handles 16 for private dining and works perfectly as a green room or speaker breakout during larger events.
