About Park Village Studios
There's a particular quality to event spaces that were never designed as event spaces. Park Village Studios started life in 1892 as an indoor riding arena for the residents of Regent's Park's Nash terraces, served as an emergency wartime shelter for London Zoo's animals during the Blitz, and at some point along the way became one of London's most distinctive production and events venues. The building carries that layered history visibly — cast-iron spiral staircases, original viewing galleries, a horse ramp repurposed beneath an industrial staircase — and none of it could be replicated in a new build.
Three Studios, One Building
The venue spans 10,000 sq ft across three distinctive spaces. The Arena is the showpiece: a double-height former riding arena with a J-shaped infinity cove for projections and 3D mapping, polished concrete floors, and rigging overhead for flexible lighting configurations. The Stables — vaulted wooden beams, elegant tiles, excellent natural light — provides a warmer, more intimate counterpoint. The Stalls adds contemporary flexibility with drive-in access and heavy-duty power. Together or individually, the three studios offer a range that very few single venues can match.
Production-Grade, Heritage-Protected
English Heritage status means the building's character is non-negotiable — which is precisely the point. Major brand activations (BMW, Dior, Ruinart have all used the space during Frieze Art Fair), fashion shoots, product launches, and award ceremonies are drawn here because the architecture provides what decoration cannot. Full in-house production capabilities, 1GB WiFi, blackout options throughout, and exclusive catering by award-winning B Corp Dinner Ladies mean the operational side matches the setting.
Regent's Park on the Doorstep
Metres from Regent's Park's Gloucester Gate, the venue sits in one of London's most photogenic neighbourhoods. Camden Town Tube is a short walk. The garden opening off The Arena looks directly onto the Nash-designed houses of the park — an outdoor extension that adds real value to daytime events and reception drinks. For planners seeking a venue where heritage, production capability, and location converge, Park Village Studios is a rare combination.
