About OXO2
The OXO Tower has been a South Bank landmark through several lives — power station, food manufacturer's headquarters, and now a mixed-use cultural building whose second floor houses one of London's most sought-after event spaces. The building's most famous design detail, the tower windows shaped to spell O-X-O by architect Albert Moore as a creative workaround for advertising restrictions, captures the inventive spirit that runs through the venue to this day.
OXO2, operated by Camm and Hooper, occupies 537 square metres of gallery space on Level Two. Two interconnecting rooms, both with whitewashed walls, polished wood floors, and the exposed brickwork of the building's industrial heritage, provide a blank canvas that combines creative freedom with genuine architectural texture. Floor-to-ceiling folding windows open onto a private balcony, and through those windows — or from that balcony — the Thames, St Paul's Cathedral, Somerset House, and the City skyline unfold in a panoramic sweep that changes character with every hour of daylight and every shift in the weather.
The South Bank's Blank Canvas
OXO2's versatility is the product of deliberate restraint. The gallery rooms impose almost nothing on the events they host — no fixed furniture, no permanent theming, no decoration that needs to be worked around. What they offer instead is volume, light, industrial character, and views. Previous events have transformed the space into everything from immersive brand worlds to elegant seated dinners, fashion shows to charity galas.
Every booking is exclusive. There is no shared access, no neighbouring events, no compromise on the experience. The private balcony, with the Thames directly below, is included regardless of which rooms are hired.
OXO2 on the South Bank
The cultural context matters. OXO Tower Wharf sits within the South Bank arts quarter, surrounded by the National Theatre, Tate Modern, the Southbank Centre, and the BFI. Events at OXO2 absorb this association — the address signals creative sensibility and cultural awareness alongside the more immediate appeal of river views and gallery proportions. Full venue hire accommodates 400 standing or up to 200 seated, with Camm and Hooper's in-house catering and Vibration Production handling food, drink, and technical delivery. Southwark, Blackfriars, and Waterloo stations are all within walking distance.
