ODEON Luxe Leicester Square

Film premieres actually happen here — not themed premieres, not premiere-style events, but genuine red carpet arrivals for the industry's biggest releases, in a cinema that's hosted hundreds of them since 1937. The ODEON Luxe Leicester Square is the UK's first Dolby Cinema, seating 794 in handmade luxury recliners across stalls and Royal Circle, with Dolby Vision dual laser projection and Dolby Atmos surround sound delivering a visual and audio standard that no hotel ballroom or conference centre can approximate. For events where presentation quality genuinely matters — AGMs, product launches, corporate conferences, private screenings — the technology alone justifies the venue. The premiere heritage is the bonus.

ODEON Luxe Leicester Square for Corporate Events

The auditorium's second-largest stage in London — 14 metres by 13 metres — means this isn't just a screening room pressed into corporate service. Conference presentations for up to 794 delegates gain cinematic production values: the Dolby system renders slides, video content, and live feeds with a clarity and impact that purpose-built conference spaces can't match. Five microphones come standard, with a full PA system and dedicated technical manager handling setup. An in-house AV team and Events Manager are included in the hire.

Awards ceremonies, AGMs, and large-scale presentations suit the fixed auditorium layout — every seat is a luxury recliner with clear sightlines, and the Dolby Atmos audio ensures speakers are heard with precision regardless of where delegates sit.

Screenings, Premieres, and the Royal Box

Private screenings are the most natural fit. Content delivered in DCP format on hard drive plays through the same Dolby Vision system used for major releases — the quality is identical to premiere night. The exclusive Royal Box seats 22 in sumptuous full-width recliners for intimate screenings or VIP separation within larger events.

Five additional ODEON Studio Screens adjacent to the main auditorium seat 33-54 each, enabling breakout screenings, parallel content, or smaller events within the same building. Red carpet setup capability along Leicester Square adds the arrival experience that's become synonymous with the venue.

Practical Details for ODEON Luxe Leicester Square Hire

The auditorium operates as fixed seating only — no standing, dining, or cabaret configurations. Events requiring reception drinks or catering connect to Oscar's Bar and Cafe on-site, with Leicester Square views for pre and post-event hospitality. Screen Two links to the Gallery Foyer at the adjacent Londoner Hotel for more substantial reception and dining capability. Content must be delivered in DCP format on hard drive 48 hours before the event, with 5.1 audio supported. Leicester Square tube station is directly adjacent, and the venue sits at the centre of the West End's transport network.
