Night Tales has established itself as one of the most sought-after private hire venues in the area, hosting events for major brands and well-known names while maintaining the music-forward, creatively connected identity that makes Hackney venues worth booking in the first place.

Night Tales' Three Spaces

The venue operates across three distinct areas, each with its own character and operational setup. The Garden — East London's largest weatherproof terrace at 6,000 square feet — stretches along the full length of the railway arches with a custom perspex canopy, high-powered heaters, and a 10-metre cocktail bar. Sons of Slice pizza runs a permanent kitchen within the space. The Club sits beneath Arch 15, where a Funktion One sound system, immersive lighting, and a compressed dance floor create the late-night intensity that defines the venue's reputation. Arch 14, formerly The Palm Bar, operates as a fully self-contained space with its own entrance, bar, and bathrooms — effectively a private venue within the venue, licensed until 2am.

Night Tales for Private Hire

Full venue hire combines all three spaces for up to 650 guests. The format suits events that evolve through the day — terrace drinks and street food give way to club-level sound and lighting as evening arrives. The 10pm noise restriction on the terrace means amplified music moves indoors naturally, the architecture doing the programming work. Monday through Thursday bookings run 08:00 to midnight with extensions available. Friday and Saturday enquiries are reviewed individually.

Each space hires independently too. The Garden takes 400–450 standing with booth, daybed, and banquet seating configurations. The Club holds 300 standing or 100 seated. Arch 14 accommodates 200 standing with flexible seated arrangements. Branding opportunities run throughout the venue, and the in-house team works closely with clients to build bespoke event formats rather than offering rigid packages.

The venue sits on Bohemia Place, accessible via Mare Street and a short walk from Hackney Central station. Ground-level access throughout makes load-in straightforward, and the adjacent areas can serve as green room, dressing room, or back-of-house depending on the event.
