Heist Bank

Heist Bank calls itself Paddington's playground, and for once the branding is accurate. A canalside venue packed with games, wood-fired pizza, and craft beer, it operates as a bar and restaurant daily before transforming into one of West London's most entertaining private hire options. The industrial-chic setting along the Paddington Basin canal gives it character, while the entertainment — from pool to karaoke to Nintendo 64 — gives it a personality that standard bar venues don't attempt.

Games, Games, and More Games

The ground floor holds a Cleon Daniel pool table, foosball, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, and a healthy selection of board games. The basement Games Room adds a built-in projector, web-based karaoke, a classic Nintendo 64, and its own self-serve bar. The variety is deliberate — different guests gravitate to different things, and the activity keeps events moving without structured programming. It's the kind of venue where someone will discover the karaoke at 10pm and refuse to leave.

Wood-Fired Pizza and Craft Beer

The kitchen produces in-house wood-fired pizza daily using fresh yeast and Italian flour — including the signature metre-long pizzas that serve as both catering solution and talking point. Eleven rotating beer taps, a global wine list, and a cocktail menu handle the drinks side. The feasting menus are served family-style, with sharing boards placed at the centre of the table. The food is genuinely part of the experience rather than a catering afterthought.

Heist Bank's Canalside Setting

The outdoor terrace sits along the Paddington canal, providing an unexpectedly peaceful backdrop for a venue this energetic. In warmer months, the waterside seating adds a dimension that most London games bars can't offer — drinks by the canal before heading downstairs for karaoke is a natural event flow.

Events and Hire at Heist Bank

The venue scales from the 50-capacity Games Room to full building hire for 300 standing. A shared events team with Golden Bee and Bloomsbury Bowling brings over 35 years of combined experience — professional event management wrapped in a casual, fun-first package. Paddington's transport links (Elizabeth Line, Bakerloo, District, Circle, Hammersmith & City, and mainline rail) make it accessible from anywhere in London, while the W2 location works for guests arriving from outside the city too.
