About Goods Way
Goods Way is built around a 600-capacity live music auditorium, but what makes it work as an events destination is everything around it. Lafayette provides the scale and production backbone. Sweetwater — a two-floor southern saloon bar — provides the warmth. Nola's, a hidden speakeasy accessed through a secret entrance, provides the intrigue. Together they create a King's Cross venue complex where a 750-person brand launch and a 30-person cocktail reception can happen in the same building on the same evening.
Lafayette: The Production Venue
Two storeys, world-class sound and lighting, a 4K content capture system, and an isolated mix suite — Lafayette was designed for live performance and has since proven equally effective for corporate events, product launches, and awards ceremonies. The multi-tiered balcony ensures clear sightlines from every position, and the adjacent content studio enables live streaming and professional video capture without external production teams. Standing capacity reaches 600, with the full takeover extending to 750 across connected spaces.
Sweetwater and Nola's
Sweetwater brings Louisiana-inspired cocktails and a prohibition-era atmosphere across two floors — a natural arrival space for events in Lafayette or a standalone hire for drinks receptions and parties. Nola's hides beneath Lafayette as a speakeasy that doubles as the backstage bar, offering an intimate, stylish setting for private dinners and small celebrations. Sushi on Jones omakase completes the food and drink offering within the complex.
Full-Site Capability
A courtyard connects all spaces, and full venue takeovers handle up to 1,200 guests across the entire Goods Way site. The in-house catering operation works from dedicated event kitchens, with six bars across the complex scaling drinks service to match event size. Corporate packages cover everything from intimate speakeasy dinners to large-scale Christmas parties with live entertainment.
Goods Way sits two minutes' walk from King's Cross and St Pancras International — six tube lines, national rail, and Eurostar connections converging at the door. The King's Cross regeneration puts restaurants, hotels, and Coal Drops Yard within immediate reach for guests arriving early or staying late.
