FOLD exists in two modes. On weekends, it's one of London's most credible leftfield electronic clubs — a venue where the programme books over a year ahead and the Funktion One system draws DJs and audiences from across Europe. Monday to Friday, that same ex-printing factory on Stephenson Street in Canning Town becomes available for private hire, and what makes it compelling as an events venue is precisely the infrastructure that makes it compelling as a club.

The Factory

Ten thousand square feet of former printing works split across two main rooms. The main space holds around 500 standing with a full Funktion One sound system, high-end lighting rigs, a 6x2m LED screen, and live streaming capability. Room 2 takes 350 in a more stripped-back warehouse setting with a massive convertible door. The industrial bones are intact throughout — raw surfaces, high ceilings, odd geometries that break up the volume and create natural zones within the open space.

Outdoors and Ground Floor

A terrace with views across the Canning Town industrial landscape toward the city skyline provides outdoor capacity and natural light. Ground floor creative studios offer heated, step-free spaces for meetings, workshops, and production support rooms. Hair and makeup facilities, green rooms, and a service entrance with lift make the building genuinely production-ready.

Canning Town's 24-Hour Advantage

Star Lane station is a minute away on foot. Canning Town — five minutes' walk — provides 24-hour Jubilee line access, which matters for production schedules that don't respect the last tube. On-site parking and service access handle load-in logistics. The venue's weekday-only availability for private events means it's never competing with its own club programme, and the production values are already installed rather than hired in. Twenty-four-hour access is available for multi-day builds and installations.
