Flare Carnaby

Flare Carnaby occupies two floors just off Carnaby Street, in the part of Soho where the creative energy of the neighbourhood is most concentrated. The ground floor operates as a light, contemporary bar and restaurant with terrace access — the kind of space that works for a Tuesday afternoon presentation as naturally as it does for Friday evening drinks. Below it, a basement club and lounge run with full nightclub infrastructure, purpose-built for the louder, later part of the evening.

The dual-floor format is the venue's defining feature. Rather than a single room that tries to serve every phase of an event, Flare separates the two modes physically — corporate upstairs, celebration downstairs — and lets the evening migrate between them.

Carnaby Street's Split-Level Event Space

The ground floor brings natural light, terrace seating, and a contemporary aesthetic that photographs cleanly for internal comms and social sharing. It sets a professional tone for daytime use without the stiffness of a dedicated conference room. As the day progresses, the mood shifts — the basement club and lounge emerge as the destination, with 250 combined standing capacity and a sound system that treats party music as its primary purpose rather than an afterthought.

For corporate clients who regularly run events that start formal and end informal, this removes the logistical headache of a venue change mid-programme. The transition happens organically as guests discover the lower level.

A Soho Address That Works for You

Carnaby Street is one of London's most recognisable addresses, and the cultural associations — music, fashion, creative independence — transfer to events held here. It's the kind of location guests are pleased to visit rather than resigned to attending, and the surrounding streets handle pre-arrival drinks and post-event spillover without any planning on your end.

The licence runs to 1am with extensions available, putting Flare among the later-running Soho venues for celebrations that need the extra hours.
