About Evolution London

Evolution London answers the question most large-scale event planners eventually ask: where in London can you actually do this? Five thousand five hundred square metres of blank canvas interior with eight-metre ceilings, plus 3,056 square metres of outdoor space across the Deck and Courtyard, all purpose-built for events within the grounds of Battersea Park. In operation since 2003, it remains the capital's largest dedicated event venue.

Scale That Works at Evolution London

The pillar-free main hall seats 2,000 for dinner, 3,500 in theatre, and takes 5,000 for exhibitions. Supporting spaces — a 700 square metre Mezzanine with park views, Atrium, and full kitchen — allow multi-zone configurations. In summer, the outdoor Courtyard and Deck host up to 3,000 standing under festoon-lit stretch tents with direct indoor-outdoor flow. Resident caterer Moving Venue and technical partner Encore operate permanently on-site, reducing the coordination overhead that comes with events at this scale.

Production at Evolution London

Twenty-four-hour access, level load-in, adjacent truck parking, and pre-installed AV from Encore mean production teams build on infrastructure rather than building infrastructure. The blank canvas proposition is genuine — no fixed branding, no inherited furniture, no constraints beyond fire safety and licensing. Awards ceremonies, conferences, brand activations, fashion shows, exhibitions, and televised events all feature in the venue's portfolio.

Battersea Park Setting

The 14,000 square metre secured site within the Grade II* listed park provides an arrival experience that urban blank canvas venues cannot match — green surroundings, mature trees, and a setting that frames events before guests walk through the door. Victoria, Sloane Square, Battersea Park, and Queenstown Road stations connect the venue to central London.
