Cousins Snooker & Pool Club

Cousins is one of those venues where the space does the work for you. A Grade II listed building on Fore Street in Edmonton houses a proper, family-run snooker and pool club across two floors — thirteen tables, a licensed bar, and the kind of atmosphere that comes from twenty-plus years of people actually using the place. The WPBSA recognition signals professional-grade playing conditions, but the feeling when you walk in is club, not corporate.

The Ground Floor

Eight pool tables fill the main hall alongside a well-stocked bar, booth seating, and a dartboard. The American table adds variety for groups who want options. This is where the social side of any event naturally gravitates — drinks flowing, frames being played, conversations happening between shots. French doors open to an outdoor balcony that runs along the front of the building.

Upstairs: The Snooker Hall

The first floor is a different register entirely. Five full-size Riley snooker tables with dedicated seating create a quieter, more focused playing environment. For groups that include serious players — or anyone who wants to try their hand at the long game — the contrast with the pool hall downstairs is part of the appeal. A second balcony provides its own outdoor space.

A Venue That Runs Itself

What makes Cousins work for events is the simplicity of the proposition. Book the venue, turn up, play. There's no need to programme entertainment or worry about keeping guests occupied — the tables are the entertainment, and thirteen of them means nobody's waiting around. The late licence runs to midnight with extensions available, and standard opening from midday gives flexibility on timing. Silver Street station is the closest rail link, connecting into central London via the Overground.
