Barrio Shoreditch is Shoreditch High Street's Latin American party venue — a colourful, loud, unapologetically fun space where the neon lights, graffiti art, and retro furnishings create an atmosphere that most venues need a styling budget to approximate. It's managed by Nightcap Events, with locations across London, but the Shoreditch outpost is the largest and most versatile for private hire.

The venue's interiors are drawn from the founders' travels across Latin America, and the commitment shows — every corner has visual personality, from neon-lit hideaways to the tropical outdoor spaces. This isn't a venue with a theme applied over a neutral shell; the Latin character is structural. Live samba bands, funk and soul nights, and DJ sets from Thursday to Saturday keep the energy genuine, and the cocktail programme — built around Latin spirits, fresh ingredients, and a dedicated mixologist team — matches the surroundings.

The Neon Den and Outdoor Spaces

The Neon Den is the venue's signature outdoor space — retractable roof, dedicated Havana Bar, neon lighting, and heated seating for 80-100 guests. Year-round usability makes it Barrio's most popular booking area. The Tropical Garden adds further outdoor capacity with covered seating and its own character — bookable independently or as overflow from the Uptown Bar.

Private Rooms and Full Venue Hire at Barrio Shoreditch

The Uptown Bar (100-150 capacity) offers genuine privacy with folding doors, its own bar and bartenders, a separate sound system, and AV equipment — as capable for a corporate presentation as for a birthday celebration. The Timber Yard provides an intimate 65-capacity alternative. Full exclusive hire takes the entire venue for up to 350 guests, available Sunday to Thursday and for daytime events.
