Ballie Ballerson - London

Ballie Ballerson started as a one-month pop-up. The balls stayed. What began as a novelty concept on Curtain Road has become one of Shoreditch's most distinctive event venues, drawing over 25,000 visitors monthly and hosting private events for brands that take their corporate entertaining seriously — Amazon, ASOS, Meta, KPMG, and Disney among them.

More Than a Ball Pit

The ball pit is the headline, but the venue works because of everything around it. Over 5,000 square feet of space across multiple levels, with the glowing pit as centrepiece but karaoke rooms, a photo booth, arcade games, VIP booths, and hidden corners filling out a layout designed to keep groups moving and discovering. The mezzanine overlooks the main dance floor, creating natural separation between those who want to watch and those who want to play. It's competitive socialising at a scale and quality that most imitators can't match.

Shoreditch Energy, Serious Capability

The 4am licence puts Ballie Ballerson in rare company across London — most Shoreditch venues close significantly earlier. Combined with included DJ and security on every private hire, the operational side is streamlined for event planners who want a venue that handles the logistics while they focus on the guest list.

The in-house kitchen runs homemade pizza from a full industrial kitchen, flair bartenders manage the cocktail service, and table service reaches every area of the venue. For a space built around fun, the service infrastructure is more professional than many traditional event venues.

The Social Media Venue

Every corner of Ballie Ballerson generates content. The glowing ball pit photographs unlike anything else in London, and guests create shareable moments without needing a photographer or a branded backdrop — though both are available. Brand activations have transformed the ball pit colours, the murals, and the facade for product launches, creating immersive environments that extend the venue's natural visual identity.

For private celebrations, the venue's personality does the decorating. Birthday parties, hen nights, and milestone events benefit from an atmosphere that announces fun from the moment guests arrive. No ice needs breaking when the first thing you see is a million glowing balls.
