About Archives London

A full Funktion One sound system pre-installed in an 8,500 sq ft converted warehouse with 4.6m ceilings. Archives London isn't trying to be a versatile all-rounder — it's built for events where production quality, raw industrial aesthetic, and serious volume capability intersect. The deliberately dark, moody interior and panoramic East London views set a tone that corporate conference centres and polished West End venues don't attempt.

Housed on the ground floor of the High Cross Centre in Tottenham Hale, the venue opened recently as a multi-functional space combining a main warehouse with a bar, kitchen, and heated outdoor courtyard. The 1960s industrial bones — concrete, bold columns, volume — have been preserved rather than polished away.

Industrial Character at Archives London

Raw concrete floors, monolithic industrial columns, and near-black finishes create an aesthetic that suits creative and cultural events without requiring any additional production design. The 4.6m ceiling height gives the space scale that smaller warehouse venues can't match, while panoramic views across East London add an unexpected dimension — particularly striking during evening events when the cityscape lights up.

The space reads as deliberately curated rather than simply unfinished. The industrial elements are features, not limitations waiting to be covered with draping and lighting.

Sound and Production at Archives London

The Funktion One four-point sound system is the production headline. Pre-installed trusswork and lighting infrastructure mean events arrive to a production-ready space rather than starting from an empty shell. A PA system, loading bay facilities, green room, and access to changing rooms and studio space complete the technical offering. Late-night licence availability positions the venue for events that run beyond standard hours.

Layout and Access

The main warehouse space connects to a bar and kitchen area with its own capacity of around 500, a sound system, fully stocked bar, and in-house kitchen for catering. A large heated outdoor courtyard — shipping container aesthetic with pool, darts, and table tennis — sits alongside the main bar. The three areas can be hired independently or combined for larger events. Tottenham Hale station is four minutes on foot, served by the Victoria Line and National Rail. Seven Sisters is ten minutes away.
