58VE

The building does the functional work while the river does the atmospheric work. 58VE is a purpose-built events venue on Victoria Embankment where a ground-floor conference space with smart glass walls and integrated AV sits below a sixth-floor lounge and seventh-floor rooftop with Thames panoramas stretching from the Shard to the London Eye. Operated by the City of London Corporation, the approach is accordingly practical — competitive pricing, comprehensive accessibility, production-grade infrastructure.

Tech-Forward Conferencing at 58VE

The ground floor was designed for presentations, not repurposed from something else. Colour-changing LED lighting matches corporate branding, writable surfaces support workshop formats, and the smart glass back wall shifts between transparent and opaque depending on whether you need daylight or projection darkness. The room divides in two for concurrent sessions and comes with live streaming capability as standard — the kind of space where the technology disappears into the background because it was planned from the start.

58VE's River Views and Evening Potential

Upstairs, the sixth-floor Lounge and Terrace puts 100 guests behind glass walls looking directly along the Thames. The seventh floor adds two open-air balcony spaces. For conferences that run into evening receptions, or corporate events that need both working space and entertainment space, the vertical layout means delegates move from functional to atmospheric without leaving the building or calling a taxi.

Accessibility and Central London Connections

Two minutes from Blackfriars, accessible by tube, rail, river bus, and cycle, 58VE is one of the most transport-connected event venues in the City. Full wheelchair access on every floor, hearing loop, accessible restrooms throughout — the accessibility provision here goes well beyond minimum compliance. Street-level load-in on the Embankment simplifies production logistics for larger builds, and the BREEAM certification signals a venue built with environmental standards in mind.
