116 Pall Mall

Designed by John Nash in the 1820s and Grade I listed, 116 Pall Mall is a five-floor Georgian building in St James's that has been hosting events since it opened as the United Service Club in 1828. The building's event credentials run deep: seven ornate function rooms, a private garden, a vaulted Champagne Bar, and a grand staircase with a chandelier gifted by George IV. Searcys manages all catering and hospitality, and the Institute of Directors calls it home.

The Nash Room is the building's centrepiece — 3,000 sq ft, 350 standing, 250 dining, with 20-foot ceilings and an exquisite chandelier. The Carlton Room offers gold-leaf walls and Ionic columns opening onto a private terrace and secluded garden. The Waterloo Room overlooks Pall Mall and Waterloo Place. Smaller rooms — St James 1 and 2, the Trafalgar rooms, the Burton Room — provide breakout and intimate dining options.
