Full Venue Hire at Unit 58

A working creative arts hub with 16 music and multimedia studios surrounding a double-height warehouse event space — Unit 58 in Tottenham is not a venue that hires out an empty room. The studios bring a resident creative community, the programming runs from underground club nights to immersive art exhibitions, and the venue’s reputation on London’s independent music scene gives it a cultural credibility that purpose-built hire spaces can’t replicate. Acts including IDLES and D Double E have performed here. The main space holds 275–300 standing beneath 25-foot ceilings, flanked by two mezzanines and lit by two rows of large skylights. The Main Space

The performance and event area measures 12 metres by 8 metres at its widest, extending to 13 metres under the mezzanine overhang. Double-height ceilings with skylights flood the space with natural light during the day — strong for fashion shoots, photography, and daytime events — while the industrial character and professional sound system create serious atmosphere after dark. The elevated stage area behind the DJ position and the two mezzanines overlooking the main floor create a natural 360-degree dynamic for music events, with balconies and railings providing excellent multi-camera angles for filming.

Facilities at Unit 58

Ground-floor access with large double doors handles load-in and production requirements. The venue includes male and female toilets, two sink areas, a lounge area, cloakroom, green room for artists, and an outdoor terrace with seating and awning. Parking accommodates 2–4 cars on-site. For productions requiring dressing rooms, rehearsal space, or technical preparation areas, the adjacent studios and green room provide infrastructure that most warehouse venues lack.

Licence and Hire

Alcohol licensing runs Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 5am, and Thursday from 6pm to 1am, with additional hours available by arrangement. That late licence is the defining operational advantage for club nights, launch parties, and celebrations that need to run into the early hours. External catering is allowed alongside the venue’s own options, giving events flexibility on food. The zero-tolerance discrimination policy reflects the venue’s roots in London’s independent arts and music community.

Getting to Unit 58

Tottenham Hale station on the Victoria Line is seven minutes’ walk — a single tube line but a fast one, with direct connections to King’s Cross in under ten minutes. The N17 location means hire costs sit well below central London equivalents for comparable raw warehouse space, and the cultural credibility of the venue’s programming adds value that a cheaper postcode alone doesn’t.
