Full Venue Hire at The Prince West Brompton

The floral garden with its retractable roof is the headline, but The Prince West Brompton is a three-floor, 750-capacity pub that has built its entire operation around large-scale events. Three bars, three food vendors, a DJ booth, and a dedicated events team — this is a venue that treats private hire as its core business, not an occasional sideline. Located at 14 Lillie Road, a short walk from West Brompton station, The Prince is managed by the Incipio Group and has become one of West London’s go-to venues for summer parties, Christmas celebrations, corporate events, and milestone birthdays that need capacity and atmosphere in equal measure.

The Garden at The Prince

The garden is the centrepiece. Accommodating up to 500 guests, it operates year-round thanks to a retractable roof that opens for summer and closes for winter — genuinely all-weather rather than fair-weather only. In summer, the roof retracts to create an open-air garden party atmosphere. In winter, it closes to create a warm, enclosed space that still feels like a garden rather than a function room. The garden has its own dedicated bar, private bathrooms, and a DJ booth, making it operationally self-contained for semi-exclusive or exclusive hire. The floral décor and garden styling create a visual impact that most pub gardens don’t come close to achieving.

The Loft

The top floor operates as a more private space — 80 capacity with its own dedicated bar, large screens for sports or presentations, pool table, and darts room. For corporate away days that need a presentation space, birthday parties for smaller groups, or as an additional zone during full venue hire, The Loft provides a quieter, more contained environment above the main event.

Full Venue Hire at The Prince

Exclusive hire brings all three floors together for up to 750–800 guests. The ground floor pub provides the arrival experience — a proper bar with home-cooked pub food and a rotating roster of London street food brands. From there, guests flow into the garden and up to The Loft, with three bars managing drinks service across the venue. The layout is deliberately versatile: the team works with clients to configure banquet seating, cabaret layouts, theatre-style presentations, or standing receptions depending on the event format. Entertainment options are built into the operation — DJs, live music, photobooths, and custom theming are all available through the in-house team. All food and beverage must be supplied by the venue, with corkage considered case-by-case for exclusive hire.

Practicalities at The Prince

The alcohol licence runs until 23:00 with extensions available. All private event spaces operate on a minimum beverage spend, which varies by date and event type. A 50% deposit confirms the booking, with the balance due 30 days prior. West Brompton station is the closest transport link, with Earl’s Court and Fulham Broadway also within reach. For West London teams and communities, the location avoids the cost and inconvenience of a central London venue while remaining easy to reach from across the city.
