Full Venue Hire at The Atrium

The Atrium is a purpose-built event venue on Cheshire Street in the Brick Lane and Fournier Street conservation area, combining retained historic architectural features with modern event infrastructure across a ground-floor layout that accommodates up to 700 conference-style or 500 for a banquet. Everything — Main Hall, lobby, kitchen, and breakout rooms — sits on a single level, which eliminates the access complications that multi-floor venues often create for large events.

The Main Hall

The Main Hall is a large open-plan space with natural light flooding through skylights above, retained original features from the historic building, and a blank canvas approach that lets event designers transform the room to their specification. An adjustable stage platform can be configured in height, size, and position to suit presentations, performances, or ceremonies. Mood lighting and a PA system are built in, and the skylight-lit space photographs well for events where visual documentation matters.

The Lobby at The Atrium

Before guests reach the Main Hall, the lobby serves as a reception and welcome area — decorated with natural stone and marble, centred on a water feature, and hosting a five-metre bar. It’s designed as a staging space that manages guest flow before the main event begins, and works equally well for networking breaks, cocktail hours, and post-ceremony drinks. The transition from lobby to Main Hall is deliberate: guests move from an intimate, detailed entrance space into the scale and light of the main room.

Kitchen and Catering

A fully equipped commercial kitchen with a large servery area sits adjacent to the Main Hall, capable of handling everything from canapé service to full banquet catering on site. The venue offers full in-house catering or allows external suppliers to use the facilities — flexibility that suits events with specific dietary requirements, cultural catering needs, or established caterer relationships. A service road at the rear of the building handles deliveries and logistics without disrupting guest-facing areas.

Breakout Rooms and Additional Spaces

Separate breakout rooms provide space for workshops, smaller meetings, bridal suites, makeup rooms, private dining, and any parallel programme running alongside the main event. For conferences and exhibitions, these rooms handle the overflow that a single-hall venue can’t accommodate. For weddings and celebrations, they provide the preparation and private spaces that make complex events run smoothly.

Getting to The Atrium

At 124–126 Cheshire Street, the venue is just off Brick Lane with Liverpool Street, Shoreditch High Street Overground, Aldgate, Whitechapel, and Bethnal Green stations all within walking distance. Street parking is available but limited — the venue is better served by public transport.
