How Sway’s Club Works for Daytime Events

The separate entrance matters more than it might seem. Delegates arriving for a morning conference walk straight into the Club without passing through the restaurant upstairs, and the lower ground floor location creates a contained, distraction-free environment. Full AV and PA systems are built in, with 210 seats in theatre configuration or 55 in cabaret — enough for a mid-size corporate presentation or training day. The in-house kitchen operates on a proper day-delegate model with bespoke menus ranging from working lunches to full three-course meals, so catering integrates directly rather than arriving from elsewhere.

Sway’s Club After Dark

The same room that hosted a board presentation at 2pm can be running a 300-person party by 9pm. State-of-the-art sound and lighting — not retrofit bar speakers but purpose-built nightclub infrastructure — handle DJ sets and live entertainment at a level that most multi-use venues can’t match. The alcohol licence runs until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, which is genuinely late by London standards and eliminates the awkward 11pm wind-down that kills momentum at many corporate-social crossover events. There’s a private bar within the space, a dedicated cloakroom, and the blank canvas design means theming works without fighting existing decor.

Standing events take 300. Seated dining fits 160, making it workable for awards dinners and Christmas parties where you need both the meal and the dancefloor afterwards. The Club doesn’t exist in isolation. Three other lower ground floor spaces sit alongside it: the Cocktail Lounge (250 standing, plush booth seating with a New York cocktail bar feel), The Hide (100 standing, its own bar and atmospheric lighting), and Studio 61 (70 standing, the most intimate option with private entrance and cloakroom). Combined lower ground floor capacity hits 721. Add the ground floor Bar & Kitchen above — 200 standing with open-plan dining and floor-to-ceiling windows — and Sway’s total venue capacity reaches 920 across five rooms.
