Studio 94 at Studio 92 & 94

No90 Live — formerly Studio 94 — is a 3,250-square-foot ground-floor blank canvas warehouse in Hackney Wick with a stage, full PA and lighting rig, and standing capacity of 550 to 650 guests. Where its neighbour Studio 92 is polished and acoustically refined, Live is rawer, bigger, and built for energy: monochrome decor, a distinctive black-and-white internal mural, sound-responsive backlit panels that react to music, and a large mezzanine that adds a second level for breakout, VIP, or production control.

No90 Live at Studio 94 — Scale and Character

High ceilings at 4.5 metres create an open, airy feel despite the industrial bones. The blank canvas aesthetic means events define the space rather than working around existing decor — everything from the wall colours to the lighting can be adapted for theming, branding, or left raw for events that want the warehouse look without pretending it’s something else. Seated dinner layouts accommodate 180–250 depending on configuration, with the stage area available for live entertainment, presentations, or as additional floor space when not in use. The mezzanine is substantially larger than Studio 92’s, providing elevated space for smaller breakout groups, VIP areas, a DJ booth overlooking the dancefloor, or production teams controlling sound and lighting during live events. Ground-floor loading via large loading bays makes get-in straightforward for installations, staging, set builds, and exhibition infrastructure. There are no narrow corridors, no goods lifts to manage, no restrictions on what you can physically get through the door — significant for events with substantial production requirements. Canal-side access opens onto a private section of the heated, covered terrace — the same waterfront space shared with Studio 92, usable year-round. The terrace adds meaningful outdoor capacity and a change of environment during events.

Production Capability at Studio 94

The built-in stage, DJ booth, and full PA and lighting system position Live for large-scale performance events without requiring external production hire. Sound-responsive backlit panels add a contemporary visual layer that reacts to music in real time — effective for concerts, DJ-led events, and brand experiences where the venue itself becomes part of the show. Separate power outputs handle the demands of heavy production setups without circuit issues. Central heating keeps the space comfortable in winter — a common weakness in warehouse venues that rely on temporary heating that can’t keep up. For corporate use, the AV setup handles content delivery to large audiences, with the mezzanine providing natural breakout space for smaller sessions within a conference programme.

Large-scale parties and celebrations are the natural fit — 550+ standing with a stage and professional sound in an industrial setting that feels alive rather than clinical. Concerts and live music events use the full production rig. Product launches benefit from the loading bays for installation delivery, the blank canvas for bespoke environments, and the mezzanine for viewing platforms or media areas. Weddings can split across both studios: ceremony and dinner in the refined HideOut next door, after-party dancing in Live with the stage, PA, and lighting creating a festival-calibre reception. The connected terrace and internal corridor make the transition seamless. Corporate conferences and presentations use the AV capability and the mezzanine for breakout, while filming and photoshoots take advantage of the natural light options, high ceilings, large loading bays, and the 6,000+ square feet of combined floor space when both studios are booked together.

Connecting Studio 94 to the Wider Venue

An internal corridor and the shared canal-side terrace connect Live to No90 HideOut (Studio 92). Combined hire delivers over 1,000 standing across both studios and the terrace. The front courtyard accommodates food trucks, picnic benches, and arrival drinks — adding an outdoor festival dimension to larger events. Number 90 Bar next door provides in-house catering and can sometimes be included in the hire. The Mary Read canal boat is available as a 15-guest intimate add-on. Both wet and dry hire options are available, with external caterers permitted. Hackney Wick Overground is a two-minute walk. Stratford International — with DLR, Central line, and high-speed rail connections — is 10 minutes on foot. Substantial car parking and loading areas serve production vehicles and supplier access.
