About Studio 92 at Studio 92 & 94

Studio 92 — now branded No90 HideOut — is a 2,800-square-foot acoustically treated warehouse space on the canal in Hackney Wick. It holds 450 standing or 150 for a seated dinner, with access to a heated, covered canal-side terrace that extends capacity year-round. What distinguishes it from most East London warehouse venues is the acoustic treatment: triple-layer studio-quality sound design means music events, live performances, and presentations all sound clean rather than reverberating off bare walls and concrete floors.

No90 HideOut at Studio 92 — The Space

Herringbone wooden flooring and wooden wall panelling give the room a refined-industrial feel — more polished than the raw blank canvas of its neighbour, Studio 94, but still unmistakably a warehouse conversion with character. Ceilings sit at 4.5 metres, giving the space volume without feeling empty at lower guest counts. A north-facing window provides natural daylight with full blackout available for immersive events, screenings, or projection-based experiences. A small mezzanine level adds vertical interest and a vantage point over the main floor — useful for photographers, production teams, or VIP viewing during performances. The green room provides backstage prep space for performers, speakers, or event crews who need a private area away from guests. The room has a private entrance, creating a self-contained feel from the moment guests arrive. Private bar with cocktail bartenders, separate toilets, cloakroom, and ground-floor loading access complete the infrastructure. The loading access is level with the street — no goods lifts, no narrow corridors, no logistical headaches for suppliers bringing equipment in.

Production and AV at Studio 92

State-of-the-art sound and lighting are built in. The standout feature is 360-degree projection mapping capability — for brand activations, immersive experiences, and corporate presentations, the room can be entirely transformed with projected content across every surface. This goes beyond a standard projector screen: it creates an environment where the walls themselves become the content, which changes the dynamic of product launches, experiential marketing, and themed events. A large standard projection screen is also available for conventional setups, alongside a high-fidelity sound system and atmospheric lighting that can be tailored to the event mood. The acoustic treatment means live music and jazz performances sound genuinely good in the room — clarity, not just volume. For conferences and presentations, the audio quality means speakers are heard clearly across the full space without fighting reverb.

Events That Work at No90 HideOut

Corporate conferences and presentations use the projection mapping for branded content, the mezzanine for informal breakout, and the green room for speaker preparation. Team away-days benefit from the canal-side setting and the food truck courtyard — a change of environment that still has serious AV capability when the agenda requires it. Christmas and summer parties extend naturally onto the heated terrace, adding outdoor capacity to the indoor space. Wedding receptions seat 150 for dinner with genuine after-party potential using the connected Studio 94 next door — ceremony and dinner in the refined HideOut, dancing on a stage with full PA in Live. Brand activations and product launches benefit from the combination of blank canvas layout, ground-floor loading for installations, the immersive projection system, and the East London address that communicates creative credibility. Live music, exhibitions, and tradeshows all fit within the space and its capabilities.

Connecting Studio 92 to the Wider Venue

An internal corridor and the shared canal-side terrace link HideOut to No90 Live (Studio 94) next door. Combined hire gives over 1,000 standing capacity across 6,000+ square feet of internal space. The front courtyard handles food trucks, BBQs, and outdoor arrival areas. Number 90 Bar, adjacent to the studios, offers in-house catering and can sometimes be included for exclusive hire. The Mary Read canal boat adds a 15-guest intimate space for smaller meetings or breakout moments. Both wet and dry hire are available, with external caterers permitted alongside the in-house option. Hackney Wick Overground is 300 metres away — a two-minute walk. Stratford International is 10 minutes on foot, with connections to the DLR and high-speed rail.
