The Railway Arch

The venue occupies a single brick-walled railway arch on Acton Mews. Floor-to-ceiling windows at the canal-facing front flood the space with natural light during daytime events; booth seating lines the walls; a wood-panelled bar runs the length of one side with a lightboard beer listing above it. At the back, a full stage setup with green room and storage area sits ready for live performance, comedy, spoken word, or presentations. Twelve taps pour Signature Brew’s own beers alongside rotating guest brews, with wine, spirits, and cocktails also available from the bar. The coffee machine is a practical touch for daytime hires. The AV setup — industry-standard sound, projector, DJ booth — is permanently installed, which means no hire fees for basic production and no setup time on event day. This is a working music venue that doubles as an event space, not the other way around. The acoustics, stage infrastructure, and technical spec are already professional standard because they’re built for the venue’s regular programme of gigs and club nights.

The Canalside Terrace

The outdoor terrace runs directly along Regent’s Canal with a mix of seated and standing areas accommodating 60 to 70 guests. During warmer months it functions as a second venue in its own right — drinks receptions, casual networking, pre-event gathering, post-event overflow. The canal setting provides a backdrop that a standard beer garden can’t match, and the transition between indoor arch and outdoor terrace creates a natural two-zone event layout.

The venue is notably relaxed about external catering — food trucks, outside caterers, or your own arrangements are genuinely welcomed rather than merely tolerated, which gives event planners unusual flexibility for a licensed venue.
