The Starlite Suite is the more contemporary of Regents Lake’s two banqueting halls — sharing the venue’s canalside E3 location and large-format capacity while offering a distinct visual identity from the Lakeview Suite next door. The signature starlight ceiling feature is the room’s defining design element, creating instant drama overhead that eliminates the decoration investment many other venues require to achieve comparable atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. Elegant chandeliers and themed drapes complement the ceiling, while retro bricked walls add textural contrast against mood lighting and high ceilings. The interior is described as ornate and celebration-ready rather than minimalist — a space that’s dressed for occasions without needing heavy additional styling.

Capacity and Event Formats in the Starlite Suite

Standing capacity reaches 350–400. Seated dining accommodates 300, with chair setting for 350. No theatre or cabaret layouts are listed — this is a banqueting hall configured for celebrations, community events, and large social gatherings rather than conference formats. A stage is available for speeches, performances, and entertainment, with a professional sound system, wireless microphone, ceiling-mounted projector, and wall screens providing AV capability without external hire.

Catering and Cost Control at Regents Lake’s Starlite Suite

The same flexible catering model applies as across the wider venue. In-house catering through Mint Catering handles everything from the kitchen, but external caterers are permitted with the fully equipped on-site kitchen ready for outside teams. BYO alcohol is allowed, keeping bar costs under the organiser’s direct control. For large celebrations where guest counts regularly exceed 200, these two levers — bring your own caterer, bring your own alcohol — represent substantial savings compared to venues where in-house catering and bar packages are the only option.

Like the Lakeview Suite, the Starlite Suite has built its reputation through Asian weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, proms, and large cultural celebrations.
