York Lawns at Regent’s Events

Four acres of private landscaped gardens within Regent’s Park, five minutes on foot from Baker Street station. From May, a large ivory-lined marquee takes up residence on the lawns for the summer season, providing shelter from both sun and rain without sacrificing the garden atmosphere.

Year-round gardeners maintain the grounds to a standard that justifies the Regent’s Park address, and the mature planting creates natural zones within the four-acre footprint — areas for activities, dining, and socialising that feel distinct without requiring artificial division. Catering is handled in-house by Houston & Hawkes, the venue’s catering partner, who prepare everything on site. Summer options span BBQ menus, street food stalls, ice cream trikes, and formal dining, with an outdoor bar keeping drinks flowing without guests needing to head indoors.

Regent’s Events Beyond the York Lawns

The York Lawns sit within a wider campus of indoor and outdoor event spaces. Tuke Hall provides a 370-seat tiered auditorium with integrated AV and a large stage — proper conference infrastructure for presentations and keynotes. Herringham Hall offers Edwardian grandeur with high ceilings and arched windows for dinners up to 90 or standing receptions of 180. The Tuke Common Room, wood-panelled with garden views, handles boardroom-style meetings and seated dinners for up to 80. For smaller creative gatherings, the Knapp Gallery — a contemporary art space with natural light — works for presentations, workshops, and intimate private dining.

Planning an Event at Regent’s Events

The venue is licensed until 23:00 with extensions available, and outdoor music must end by 11pm. On-site parking — a genuine rarity for any Central London venue, let alone one in a Royal Park — simplifies logistics for larger events. Baker Street station provides Jubilee, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City, Circle, and Bakerloo line access, with Marylebone’s national rail connections nearby. The venue achieved B Corp certification in 2025, and the events team works with styling, staging, and themed party suppliers to help shape larger productions.
