Full Venue Hire at Omeara

Omeara is a working live music venue beneath the railway arches at London Bridge — acoustically engineered, theatrically designed, and available for private hire across five interconnecting spaces that together hold up to 700 standing guests. This isn’t a bar with a stage in the corner. The sound system and acoustic treatment are professional-grade, the set design is by Dick Bird (whose credits include the Royal Opera House and Royal Ballet), and the late licence runs to 1am Sunday–Thursday with Friday–Saturday daytime hire available up to 10pm.

Omeara Live and the Main Bar

The heart of any full venue takeover is Omeara Live — a 320-capacity live music space (250 standing reception, 90 theatre) built into a Victorian railway arch with a world-class PA and lighting rig. The acoustics here are genuinely exceptional, designed from the ground up for live performance rather than adapted from a function room. The main bar wraps around the live space, serving an extensive tequila-led cocktail programme alongside craft beers and wine. The Central American-inspired interiors give the whole venue a distinctive visual identity — moody, theatrical, and far removed from standard corporate hospitality.

Rae’s Live

Adjacent to Omeara, Rae’s Live adds another 320-capacity live space (250 standing reception) beneath its own railway arch. The interior was created by Dick Bird — richly theatrical with vintage-inspired set design that makes the space feel like a discovery rather than a booking. Rae’s has its own high-spec PA and lighting, its own entrance, and can be hired independently or combined with Omeara’s other spaces for larger events.

Terrace and Mezzanine at Omeara

The Terrace and Mezzanine hold around 100 guests and offer a completely different register — an outdoor terrace with heated booths, views of The Shard and Southwark Cathedral, and a Sonos system for more relaxed atmosphere. The mezzanine inside adds a cocktail bar and lounge seating. Together they work as a self-contained space for smaller events (available Sunday–Thursday until 1am, Friday–Saturday daytime to 10pm) or as an extension of a full venue hire.

Catering and Event Production at Omeara

Street food vendors operate on-site next to the venue and can supply event catering — an approach that suits the venue’s creative positioning better than formal plated service. External caterers are also welcome for events requiring more structured food. The in-house events team handles full production planning, from entertainment booking to props, lighting, and wet or dry hire options. External DJs are welcome, and the professional sound infrastructure means performances run at the level artists expect from a real music venue.

Getting to Omeara

Omeara sits on O’Meara Street, part of the Low Line development near London Bridge station — one of London’s best-connected transport hubs. Borough station is the nearest Tube. The venue is part of the Lowline Entertainment Group, which operates several event spaces around London Bridge, giving the operation depth in production, logistics, and supplier relationships.
