Exclusive Venue Hire at NT’s Loft

NT’s Loft sits at the top of Netil House in London Fields, a New York-inspired industrial loft with a retractable roof terrace that changes what rooftop events in East London can actually promise. Most outdoor venues in Hackney require a weather contingency plan. NT’s Loft has one built into the architecture — a fully retractable roof over 1,000 square feet of heated terrace, with lounge seating and panoramic views across the East London skyline. When the weather cooperates, the roof opens. When it doesn’t, guests barely notice. The interior matches the ambition. Following a recent refurbishment, the 2,000-square-foot loft space features exposed brickwork, huge windows looking out over the railway tracks, an upgraded Function One sound system, bespoke ambient LED lighting, a larger performance stage, and a dance floor that has earned its reputation through years of programming. NT’s Loft built its name on Jazz Wednesdays and a weekend music schedule that drew serious crowds — the venue understands sound, atmosphere, and how a room should feel at different points in an evening.

NT’s Loft Capacity and Layout

Full venue hire accommodates up to 350 standing guests across the interior loft and rooftop terrace. The space is configurable for seated events, though the standing format plays to the venue’s strengths — the natural flow between indoor loft and outdoor terrace creates movement and energy that static layouts can’t replicate. The stage accommodates live performances, DJs, and presentations, with the Function One sound system and in-house AV included in the hire fee. For events that need their own branding, the AV setup can be adapted to display corporate identity, presentations, or visual content throughout the space.

Events at NT’s Loft

Summer parties are the obvious fit — the retractable roof terrace and skyline views make NT’s Loft one of the strongest warm-weather event venues in East London. But the all-weather capability extends the season significantly, making the terrace viable for Christmas parties, autumn celebrations, and corporate events year-round. Product launches and brand activations gain from the combination of industrial aesthetic, natural light, and a photogenic terrace with London’s skyline as backdrop. Wedding receptions suit the venue’s ability to transition from ceremony atmosphere to party energy within the same space. Birthday celebrations and milestone parties for the East London crowd find a venue that matches their expectations without trying too hard.

Catering and Practical Details

NT’s Loft works with a rotation of catering partners and street food operators, with an on-site pizza oven adding a distinctive food option. The flexibility to bring different food concepts to different events keeps the catering fresh rather than defaulting to a fixed menu. The venue is licensed from 8am to midnight, with extensions available. Private hire is available Sunday through Thursday as standard, with Friday and Saturday bookings considered on a case-by-case basis. London Fields and Bethnal Green Overground stations are both a short walk, with Hackney Central also accessible nearby.
