At full capacity: 1,200 standing, 1,000 theatre, 800 dinner, or exhibition space for up to 80 stands.

The London Suite’s Pillar-Free Floor

Pillar-free matters at this scale. Twelve hundred square metres with no structural obstructions means uncompromised sightlines for every seat at a conference, every table at a dinner, and every stand at an exhibition. Screens, staging, and production elements work without the workarounds that columned spaces force — no blind spots, no awkward angles, no wasted floor space. The five-metre ceilings accommodate ambitious production setups, from full stage rigging to suspended displays. A 5×5-metre loading bay door at street level — large enough for a double-decker bus — means heavy production equipment, vehicles for launches, and exhibition materials enter at ground level rather than navigating lifts and corridors. Twenty-four-hour access supports extended build schedules for complex events.

ILEC Conference Centre’s Modular System

The nine-module partition system is what makes the London Suite genuinely versatile rather than simply large. The six smaller modules (London 1-6, approximately 63 square metres each) combine into configurations of 380 to 545 square metres. The three larger modules (London 7, 8, 9) combine into approximately 800 square metres — the venue’s most popular sub-room configuration for conference organisers. A conference using the full London Suite one day can split into three simultaneous seminars the next, without moving venue. An exhibition filling 80 stands in the morning can clear to a gala dinner for 800 by evening. The partition system handles these transitions because the space was designed around them, not adapted for them after the fact.

Events at the London Suite

Large-scale conferences and exhibitions are the core use — the pillar-free space, loading bay, modular partitioning, and supporting infrastructure make this purpose-built for the format. Product launches leverage the loading bay and open floor for vehicle displays, equipment demonstrations, and immersive brand builds. Award ceremonies and gala dinners for up to 800 use the built-in LED lighting system to create dramatic evening ambience across the full space. Large weddings use the ballroom proportions and lighting for celebrations at a scale most London venues can’t accommodate. Trade shows and expos take advantage of the 80-stand exhibition capacity with street-level loading.

ILEC Conference Centre’s Supporting Infrastructure

Five syndicate rooms on the second floor — including Hyde Park (50 capacity with natural daylight) and Greenwich Park I and II (10 each, interconnectable) — provide breakout, hospitality, and organiser office space alongside the main event. On-site catering handles everything from daily delegate packages to formal dinner service, and self-catering is permitted for clients bringing their own suppliers. The on-site Ibis hotel (now also carrying Mercure branding) provides 508 guest rooms directly connected to the venue — eliminating the delegate transport logistics that plague multi-day conferences. The George and Dragon pub and La Table restaurant sit on-site for informal dining and evening socialising. One hundred and forty basement parking spaces, fibre-optic internet, air conditioning, and a pre-function area complete the infrastructure. West Brompton station — District line and Overground — is three minutes’ walk. Earl’s Court tube is fifteen minutes on foot. The SW6 Fulham location trades central London prestige for accessibility, parking, and value that Zone 1 equivalents can’t match.
