Exclusive Venue Hire at Goldwood Sports Pub & Kitchen

Goldwood Sports Pub & Kitchen is a purpose-built premium sports venue in the City’s financial district, three minutes from Bank station at 30 Old Jewry. Full venue hire accommodates up to 500 standing or 195 seated across two stylish floors with two bars, 20+ HD screens (including three at 100 inches), and a state-of-the-art sound system designed for live sport and events. This isn’t a pub that happens to show football. The entire venue is engineered around live sports viewing — every major international fixture across football, rugby, cricket, F1, UFC, NFL, tennis, golf, and boxing, seven days a week. For corporate hospitality during major sporting events, the Bank station location and purpose-built infrastructure make it the default City option.

Spaces at Goldwood

The Sports Lounge occupies the main floor with a large bar and multiple screens. It can operate as a single open space or be split for semi-exclusive hire, giving flexibility for events that want atmosphere without full venue commitment. The Mezzanine overlooks the Sports Lounge with four HD screens and capacity for around 75 standing — a natural VIP area for events that want separation with sightlines to the action below. The Racing Corner provides booth seating with six screens for up to 40 standing — ideal for smaller groups who want their own area during a fixture. The Oval Bar is the venue’s most private space, with its own bar and separate entrance, holding up to 100 guests. It offers genuine separation from the main venue while retaining the atmosphere — corporate groups use it for client hospitality where they want the sport-viewing energy without sharing space with the public floor. Mezzanine and Racing Corner can combine for up to 130, and the full venue exclusive takes the entire building.

Events Beyond Live Sport

While sport is the core proposition, the screens can display corporate content, presentations, or event branding when fixtures aren’t the focus. A standalone sound system comes with full venue hire, and the flexibility to switch between sports atmosphere and private event mode means the venue handles Christmas parties, team celebrations, and corporate gatherings that have nothing to do with the match schedule. Operating hours run 11am to midnight, with extensions to 1am available Wednesday to Friday.

Food, Drink, and Hospitality at Goldwood

The in-house kitchen serves an American-influenced menu built for the format — sharing platters, chicken wings, burgers, subs, pizza, and small plates designed for groups watching sport or socialising. The drinks offering spans signature and classic cocktails, craft beers, and international wines across two fully stocked bars.
