WESTVIEW at Chelsea Football Club

Completed in summer 2021, WESTVIEW is Stamford Bridge’s modern counterpart to the traditional Great Hall — a refurbished concourse space in the West Stand Upper Tier, flooded with natural light and offering panoramic views of both the London skyline and the pitch below. The dual-aspect outlook is the defining feature: city panorama in one direction, the Stamford Bridge bowl in the other. It’s a genuine wow-factor view that differentiates WESTVIEW from standard conference and reception venues, where windows typically overlook car parks or neighbouring buildings. The interior is contemporary and sleek — newly installed finishes, state-of-the-art screens including three big screens in the seating bowl, and an open-plan layout built around two 360-degree bars and a food hall. The atmosphere is sociable and modern, a marked contrast to the blank-canvas industrial feel of the Great Hall below.

WESTVIEW for Corporate Events at Stamford Bridge

At 1,000 standing capacity, WESTVIEW handles large-scale corporate entertaining, conferences, and networking events where the views do the work of creating atmosphere. The panoramic setting suits drinks receptions and awards ceremonies particularly well — the skyline backdrop provides a natural focal point that reduces the need for extensive event design. Presentations and product launches benefit from the state-of-the-art screen infrastructure and padded seating throughout. The space is fully accessible and air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi coverage across the floor. AV equipment is available on request, managed through Peachy Productions or external suppliers. Award-winning catering by Levy Restaurants operates through the food hall and bar infrastructure, keeping service efficient at high volumes. The alcohol licence runs until 1am with extensions available.

How WESTVIEW Fits Within Chelsea FC’s Events Campus

WESTVIEW is part of the West Stand Upper Tier complex, with access to the seating bowl and pitch views from the stand. It sits within the broader Stamford Bridge campus alongside the Great Hall, Canoville Suite, Under the Bridge, and 25-plus additional function rooms. For multi-space events, WESTVIEW provides a contemporary reception or breakout option that contrasts effectively with the more traditional spaces at ground level. On-site hotels (two 4-star properties, 231 rooms combined) and restaurants support multi-day conferences and programmes. Fulham Broadway station is the nearest tube connection. As with all Stamford Bridge events, match-day blackouts apply — diary planning needs to work around Chelsea’s home fixtures.

What Sets WESTVIEW Apart at Chelsea Football Club

The combination of panoramic views, modern infrastructure, and Premier League setting creates something that neither a hotel conference floor nor a standalone events venue can match. Corporate team days, conferences, and entertaining events gain from a space that guests find genuinely impressive on arrival — before any content or programme begins. The 2021 refurbishment means the finishes and technology are current rather than inherited, which shows in the quality of the screens, the bar design, and the overall feel of the space.
