Full venue hire at Cahoots combines the ground-floor Ticket Hall and the subterranean Underground, accommodating up to 320 standing across spaces designed so completely around a wartime London fantasy that the theming itself becomes the entertainment. The concept works because nothing breaks the immersion. Staff are costumed as 1940s characters. Cocktails arrive in old mugs, hip flasks, and vintage milk bottles. Menus are printed on replica newspapers. Split-flap timetables, telephone booths, train maps, tiled platforms, and a life-size tube carriage all reinforce the fiction. For events, this means the venue does the atmosphere work that would cost significant production budgets to create elsewhere.

The Ticket Hall

The ground-floor Ticket Hall holds up to 100 guests in a space themed as a 1940s British pub — vintage posters, high-level seating, ornate lampshades, and a giant station clock. There’s an outdoor terrace on Kingly Street for up to 50, extending the capacity and giving smokers and fresh-air seekers somewhere to go without leaving the event. The Ticket Hall works for both standing receptions and seated events, with drinks served from a dedicated bar.

Cahoots Underground

Below street level, the Underground splits into two platforms — Northbound (20 to 150 guests) and Southbound (25 to 70 guests) — connected by a central passageway. The Northbound Carriage offers semi-private seating inside a replica tube car with moquette-patterned seats and makeshift trunk tables. The Southbound Platform is a private space in the station’s lower depths, with an industrial aesthetic of switches, dials, and flashing lights. Full Underground hire accommodates 20 to 220 across both platforms, and full venue hire adds the Ticket Hall for 320 total.

Events and Entertainment at Cahoots

Live swing entertainment is available — fitting given the 1940s setting — alongside DJs and the option to bring own music. The in-house cocktail programme is extensive and fully themed, with 1940s-inspired menus and a food offering that matches the period styling. Costumed staff maintain the immersion throughout, and the events team can tailor the experience to corporate bookings, birthday celebrations, or any format that benefits from a venue with built-in character. The alcohol licence runs until midnight, with extensions available on request. External DJs and own music are both permitted.
