Full Venue Hire at Beechwood

Beechwood is a purpose-built sports bar at Principal Place in Shoreditch, designed from the ground up for premium match-day viewing — ultra-high-definition screens positioned for visibility from every seat, stadium-quality sound systems, and a large outdoor terrace with giant screens for alfresco viewing in warmer months. This isn’t a pub that happens to show sport; it’s a venue built around the collective experience of watching significant events together. Full venue hire gives exclusive access for up to 350 standing guests with a private bar, state-of-the-art AV throughout, and the terrace for outdoor overflow. The venue sits beside Liverpool Street station, making it one of the most accessible sports-focused venues in the City.

Screens, Sound and Viewing Experience at Beechwood

The UHD screens run throughout the venue — multiple screens of varying sizes, all positioned so there’s no bad seat in the house. The sound system delivers genuine stadium atmosphere rather than the tinny audio that makes most pub viewings a compromise. The setup handles all major international sporting events — football, rugby, cricket, F1, UFC, NFL, tennis, golf, boxing, and more — with the capacity to show different feeds simultaneously across the venue. The outdoor terrace adds giant screens for open-air viewing, creating a summer sports-watching experience that very few London venues can match. Warm-weather events like Wimbledon, summer cricket, and outdoor football screenings gain a dimension that indoor-only venues can’t offer.

Corporate Events and Private Hire at Beechwood

The sports-bar infrastructure doubles as event infrastructure. Screens that show live sport during the week handle corporate presentations, product launches, and branded content during private hire. The sound system and AV capability make this a genuinely capable event space beyond its sports-viewing core. Team events structured around major fixtures — World Cup matches, Champions League finals, Six Nations weekends, boxing nights — work naturally here because the venue provides the production quality that turns viewing into an event. Client hospitality during significant sporting occasions gains a setting that matches the importance of the fixture.

Location, Food and Practicalities

The Principal Place address positions Beechwood at the Shoreditch/City boundary, beside Liverpool Street station. It’s a natural after-work destination for City professionals and Shoreditch-based creative companies alike. The in-house kitchen serves pub food — burgers, platters, sharing boards, and nachos — with drinks packages available for group bookings. Air conditioning, disabled access, and the modern fit-out of a recently built venue mean the practical details are handled. The licence runs to 11pm. Part of the Sport London pub group, Beechwood combines reliable operational standards with a specialist focus on making live sport feel like an occasion.
